Manchester State Park - View Images of Manchester
Right down the road from The Anchors is Manchester State Park, which was once used as a harbor defense installation for Bremerton's protection. A torpedo warehouse still remains and can be reserved as a large covered picnic shelter for a party. The park is a 111-acre camping park with 3,400 feet of saltwater shoreline on Rich Passage in Puget Sound. Kayak or canoe to the park from Manchester’s pier and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the large, wooded, waterfront park and campground. It is open year round for camping and day use. There are hiking trails, diving, fishing, bird and wildlife viewing, horseshoe pit, mountain biking, volleyball/badminton court, and more! Bring your family and friends to come have a picnic on one of the park’s thirty-six tables, play sports and enjoy the views. It is one of the best views of ferries in the area. For more information visit Manchester State Park website.
